Privacy by default

No opt-in is required, as it should be.

Privacy is a fundamental human right. When individuals have done nothing wrong, there is no justification for subjecting them to constant surveillance. Mass surveillance imposes significant costs on society and often results in vast amounts of sensitive data being stored in centralized systems, where it becomes vulnerable to unauthorized access or breaches.

Such exposures can leave innocent people at risk of scams and other forms of exploitation that rely on compromised personal information.

Our approach to minimizing risk begins with reducing the amount of personal data we collect. Each data point is carefully evaluated. We ask whether it is necessary and why it is needed. If there is no clear justification, we regard it as unnecessary and a potential liability in the event of a data breach.

After all, no stored data can be considered entirely secure.

No unnecessary data collection

We collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to maintain the functionality of our service.

Because storing large volumes of unnecessary personal data is, in itself, a liability. Over more than a decade of operation, we have also observed that individuals intent on concealing their identity rarely provide accurate personal information. Instead, they rely on false identities and tools such as VPNs. This ultimately undermines the effectiveness and purpose of extensive data collection.

We are confident that the vast majority of individuals act honestly, and they should not be subjected to mass surveillance or the risk of exposure resulting from data breaches. We have no intention of contributing to such practices.

At 99Stack Cloud, we go beyond GDPR compliance. While GDPR sets a baseline for privacy protection, we treat privacy as a core priority. We continuously seek ways to minimize data collection and to further strengthen the protection of the limited data we retain.

Cryptocurrency supported

Today, the financial and legacy banking systems is among the most heavily restricted and surveilled.

We believe in the fundamental right of individuals to spend their own hard earned money freely, without restrictions or limitations. Accordingly, supporting payments via cryptocurrency is a core principle of our approach.

An additional benefit of cryptocurrency is its ability to function as digital cash. Once a payment is completed, it is final and cannot be reversed. This reduces the need for extensive KYC procedures, which often require collecting large amounts of personal data. Furthermore, the elimination of credit card fraud risk lowers transaction fees, savings that we pass on to you, in the form of reduced prices.

That said, cryptocurrency may not be suitable for everyone, and we continue to offer traditional fiat payment options for those who prefer them. We believe in preserving the freedom of choice.
